Officials in Ahmedabad said they will separate the flying creatures if enormous scope fowl passings were accounted for at poultry ranches in the territory.
Frenzy struck Akruti municipality in Narolgam zone of Ahmedabad locale in Gujarat after 65 pigeons were discovered dead on Wednesday.
The nearby occupants quickly educated the creature farming division that took tests of the dead fowls. The examples have been shipped off the research facility in Bhopal.
“There were reports of pigeons dropping dead since Wednesday morning. We have collected the samples for testing. The animal husbandry team has also carried fumigation in the area as it is populated and we don’t want to take any chances,” a report in Times of India quoted an official as saying.
Authorities said the division will do point by point reconnaissance to check for contaminated feathered creatures in the territory if the examples were discovered positive for avian influenza.
There are a few poultry ranches in the region of Narolgam. The authorities are additionally looking whether any flying creature passings have occurred at these homesteads.
“All the birds will be culled if large scale deaths are found in the poultry farms,” the official further said.
Prior, a few crows were discovered dead in Ahmedabad however their examples were tried negative.

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying said in a press explanation, “Till January 27, outbreaks of Avian Influenza (Bird flu) have been confirmed in nine states for poultry birds. The States are Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab for poultry birds.
It further added that Bird flu has been confirmed in 12 States in crows, migratory and wild birds. These states include Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab.
