Ahmedabad: Modernized Motera stadium prepared for action

At last, the wait is over for the devotees of cricket in the city, as the ticket reserving for the third Test coordinate among India and England at the Motera arena will begin from 11.00 am on Sunday. The fans have been standing by tensely to see a live experience at this recently constructed beautiful arena.

The rush and enthusiasm among the nearby fans to watch a global match at the world’s largest cricket stadium at Motera is massive.

The specialists have chosen to permit half observers of the arena’s ability, during the matches at this setting. Britain will play two Test coordinates here, with a pink ball Day-Night experience from February 24-28 and the fourth and last match from March 4-8. The game at Motera will be India’s subsequent pink ball Test at home as they facilitated one against Bangladesh at the Eden Garden in 2019.

After the Test arrangement, Motera will have all the five T20 internationals (March 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20). “We are honoured to be hosting this series after a hiatus and are excitedly looking forward to entertain gathering of cricket fans at the world’s largest cricket stadium at Motera, considering social distancing and safety norms.

“We at GCA thank Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for allocating two Tests and five T20 international matches at this newly-built cricket stadium,” added Nathwani.
