Gujarat’s COVID-19 update: The state’s generally Covid count remains at 2,54,314 cases, including 4,357 fatalities.
Indeed, even as Gujarat is seeing a decrease in new instances of Covid, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Friday reported that evening time limit in four significant urban communities will stay set up for the following 15 days as a careful step. The Gujarat CM further asked individuals to be quiet and help out the experts for a couple of more days.
According to Rupani, Covid cases have gone under control in light of the burden of night time limitation in November 2020 in Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Rajkot.
“The night curfew after 10 pm will continue for 15 more days in all four cities. There will be no relaxation for now, as there is a drastic decrease in new cases (because of curfew). People need to have patience and cooperate with the authorities,” he told the media in Jamnagar.
He added that a choice with respect to lifting the time limit will be made at a suitable time.
Following an unexpected expansion in Covid cases after Diwali in 2020, the Gujarat government had forced a night time limitation in four significant urban communities. Prior, individuals were restricted from leaving their homes from 9 pm-6 am each day in these urban communities. In any case, the circumstance was of late reexamined to 10 pm till 6 am.
At the point when the Gujarat government had chosen to force night time limit, 1,500-1,600 new COVID-19 cases were being accounted for every day in Gujarat. Eminently, the majority of the cases were from the four urban areas.
As of now, there are 4,73,832 individuals under isolate in Gujarat, remembering 111 for various government offices.
