Indian Railways prepared for phase-wise launch of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project

Maharashtra government guaranteed the Center that 80% of land securing work will be finished in the following four months itself.

The Indian Railways will start activities in a staged way on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad shot train hall attributable to postponed land procurement in Maharashtra, said Railway Board Chairman YK Yadav.

NHSRCL was set up with a value asset of Rs 20,000, half of which will be financed by the Indian Railways, while 25% each will be contributed by Gujarat and Maharashtra state governments.
