A 43-year-old engineer from Hyderabad has won the lofty World Quizzing Championship 2020, a yearly worldwide rivalry, which saw the interest of 668 quizzers from across the world.
Ravikant Avva, who moved on from IIT-Madras and IIM-Ahmedabad and as of now working for a worldwide organization in Singapore, sacked the top distinctions as of late, his dad and resigned IAS official A P V N Sarma told PTI.
The championship, directed by the International Quizzing Association (IQA), this year was an extreme two-hour trial of general information and current undertakings with 240 inquiries across eight classes, including sciences, history, sports, craftsmanship and culture. Avva won by making sure about an all out score of 159, Sarma, counselor to the Governor of Telangana, said.
